AWT Films is a small indie film production company. It was set up in 2004 by Alexander Cornelius Thompson who innovates, shoots, directs, edits and advises.
AWT Films has been commissioned in the last year to make promotional videos for Oxford's major nightclub promotion company '4 Play Events', and was also commissioned to do something rather different than film - interior design - for the 'Whittawer Clothing Company' in the High Street Oxford. This meant redesigning the lighting, creating a unique shop window display with a projected background and animating the normal window display.
Alexander has also been commissioned recently to produce specialised high dynamic range photographs, which have a unique ethereal quality, closer to how the eye sees light and colour, for the promo material of 'Benson and i'.
AWT Films is all about coming up with innovative ideas and exploiting them, like the digital window display. All within a tight budget, and done entirely in-house. So watch this space if you're looking for fresh new ideas which are yet to be found anywhere else, there's loads more coming right up.
